Adeptus Mechanicus Skitarii Revealed!

The Adeptus Mechanicus has always been a much loved 40K faction available from Forge World, but with the latest offering from GW we can now get our hands on the Adeptus Mechanicus in glorious plastic. Well almost, up for pre-order on GW are two brand new plastic kits. The one an infantry box which makes either 10 Adeptus Mechanicus Skitarii Rangers or 10 Adeptus Mechanicus Skitarii Vanguard. The kit contains 124 parts with a multitude of unit upgrades. The Rangers are equipped with Galvanic rifles to hunt down their prey, while the Vanguard oozes radiation and use carbines for a close range shooting option.

The other new plastic kit is a walker, or the Adeptus Mechanicus Ironstrider Ballistarius and the Adeptus Mechanicus Sydonian Dragoon to be precise. The walker has a slight IG sentinel feel to it, but has two crew operating it. I really like the steam punk look of these. The Ironstrider Ballistarius is described as a walking artillery platform and can be kitted with either a twin-linked cognis autocannon or a twin-linked cognis lascannon. The Sydonian Dragoon act as a cavalry option for the Skitarii and can be armed with either a taser lance or radium jezzail.
