Adeptus Mechanicus Tech-Priest Dominus and More!
A new wave of Cult Mechanicus goodness from Games Workshop is up on pre-order. The release includes the Adeptus Mechanicus Tech-Priest Dominus, Adeptus Mechanicus Fulgurite Electro-Priests dual kit and a couple versions of the Codex: Cult Mechanicus. Check out the video below to see the new releases up close and personal.
The Tech-Priest Dominus is hands down my favourite miniature in the release, and maybe even in the whole Adeptus Mechanicus range so far. The Tech-Priests Dominus orchestrates the strategies of war for the Cult Mechanicus. Ensuring that the most effective orders are given to it’s troops and adapting to the battlefield based on information fed directly into its mind.
The new kit can be customized to fit with both the Cult Mechanicus and Skitarii factions. The Tech Priest has access to a volkite blaster, a macrostubber, an eradication ray, a phosphor serpenta and a power axe detailed with a loudspeaker and microphone. The model sits on a 50mm base.
The other new kit enables you to make either the Adeptus Mechanicus Fulgurite Electro-Priests or the Corpuscarii Electro-Priests. This multi-part plastic kit comes with eighty two components, enabling you to make five Corpuscarii or five Fulgurite Electro-Priests. The Fulgurite Electro-Priests wield electroleech staves, which are able to suck the bioelectricity from their foes, leaving behind only their husks.
The Corpuscarii Electro Priests are walking human generators and wield a pair of electrostatic gauntlets. The gauntlets discharges incredible bursts of energy, enabling the priests to destroy their foes.
Next up we have the Codex: Cult Mechanicus. This eighty page, full colour, codex contains all the background information and rules you need to field the Cult Mechanicus on the tabletop. It costs £20. The Codex: Cult Mechanicus Dominus edition is also available for those looking for a premium edition of the codex. It comes with thirty-six tactical objective cards, six Canticles of the Omnissiah cards,a artwork poster and six tactical objective markers in a brass finish. Dominus edition is limited to 900 copies and cost £100, so gets yours before they sell out.
