Baleful Realmgates and Ophidian Archway Scenery Kits Revealed

Games Workshop has revealed two new scenery kits for Age of Sigmar this week – the Baleful Realmgates and Ophidian Archway. Both kits have a huge amount of details on them and come with their own rules for use in Age of Sigmar. Check them out below.

Baleful Realm Gates – Age of Sigmar

Unstable energies course through the Baleful Realmgate and those brave enough may enter these gates to be transported to other side of the gate, usually at a cost. This new scenery set has got it’s own set of rules which can be used in Age of Sigmar games. The kit contains two gates and the warscroll. You can also download the warscroll here.

I like the idea of quick travel on the tabletop which this scenery kit brings to the game. With clever use these gates could have a significant impact on the battle although it comes with some risk. The kit costs £35 and can be ordered here. More images below.

Ophidian Archway

Ophidian Archway – Age of Sigmar

The Ophidian Archway is home to long forgotten ancient magicks. Heroes can try to invoke the magicks contained within but doing so they could see themselves added to the carvings on the wall!

The kit contains one Ophidian Archway and a Warscroll with all the rules needed to use it in a game of Age of Sigmar. The front of the archway has a beautiful battle scene engraved on it.
