Lord Celestant, Liberators, Age of Sigmar Book and More!
The Age of Sigmar starter set is available from today and this week sees more pre-orders going up. Miniature wise have the Lord Celestant on foot and Liberators kit, then the new Age of Sigmar Book, new Dice shakers and the Combat gauge measuring tool. These will all be available from the 18th of July, for a closer look watch the video below.
Lord Celestant
The Lords Celestant are the leaders of the Storm Host. They are formidable in battle and come equipped with Sigmarite Runeblades and Warhammers and a magical Sigmarite Warcloak which is able to unleash a barrage of hammer blows. This kit contains one Lord Celestant on foot and comes with a 40mm round base. It costs £20 and can be ordered here.
There’s a massive amount of details on the miniature and it’s armour is really well done. Check out all the images below.
Stormcast Eternals Liberators
The Liberators are the hammers of Sigmar. Imbued with His power they come forth to shatter the evils of chaos.
This multi-part plastic allows you to build 5 Liberators including the option for a Liberator Prime. The Liberators can be armed with four weapon options and has 2 special weapons:
- Warhammer and sigmarite shield
- Dual warhammers
- Warblade and sigmarite shield
- Sword and parrying blade
- Special weapons – Grandhammer and Grandblade
The kit also has 12 head options, of which two are for the Prime, and comes 40mm round bases. It costs £30 and can be ordered here. The special weapon options look awesome and with all the options available in the kit you really can play your Liberators the way you want. More images below.
Celestial Thunder Bundle
If you really like the Liberators then why not get the Celestial Thunder bundle. It contains 4 kits of Liberators, so 20 miniatures, in one easy to purchase option. It costs £120 and can be ordered here. That’s a lot of weapon options. 🙂
Warhammer Age of Sigmar Book
This full-colour, 264 page hardback book contains everything you need to know about Warhammer Age of Sigmar. It is the complete guide to the new era in Warhammer and includes the following:
- Backgrounds and stories for each of the realms and factions in Age of Sigmar
- Miniature showcases
- First part of the ongoing narrative: The Realmgate Wars
- Scenarios, rules and backgrounds for setting your games within the Age of Sigmar Realms
I’m really interested in the scenarios and hope that they will bring some balance to the game in regards to what players field in their games. The book costs £45 and can be ordered here. There is also a Limited Edition version available which can be seen here. More images below.
Dice Shakers
The Dice Shaker sets cost £25 and there is one for the Stormcast Eternals and Khorne Bloodhounds. These are limited so order your now to avoid disappointment ;).
Combat Gauge
The metal Combat Gauge’s allows you to measure half an inch, one inch, two inches and three inches incrementally. It offers an easy way to see whether your models are in range for combat without having to use a measurement tape. I really like these kind of tools as it is so much easier to use than struggling with a tape measure in smaller spaces on the tabletop. It is quite expensive though and there are cheaper options available for this kind of tool, but none looks as cool as thin one ;). It costs £20 and can be ordered here.
