GW has finally launched a new set of miniature figure cases. Aptly named, the Skirmish(small), Battle(medium) and Crusade(large) cases has seen some vast improvements over the previous GW cases. The new channel foam trays is one of the big selling points of the case.

This new tray allows you to store much more miniatures than any traditional cut out foam try without compromising on the safety of your miniatures. The foam inside the cases has also been designed to compress a bit when then case is closed to ensure a snug fit on your miniatures ensuring that they won’t move/fall around and get damaged. Add to this metal hinges on the stress points of the case and you have a really solid looking figure case.  The Crusade case also come with a padded strap to ensure easy transporting.

Prices are £30 for the Skirmish, £50 for the Battle and £75 for the Crusade case. Check out the images below and watch the video to see just how many figures can go into these cases. I definitely want to get my hands on the Skirmish case.
