Deathwatch Overkill is a new boxed game from Games Workshop. It sees a Kill Team face off against a Genestealer Cult. Check out the trailer video below!

Deathwatch Overkill

The game takes place on Ghosar Quintus. Where the mining populace has begun to develop strange habits. The inquisitor sent to investigate has has raised suspicions and now the Kill Team sent to investigate has gone missing.

Ortan Cassius has now assembled his own Kill Team and sets out to Ghosar Quintus to find out what going on and deal with any threat that becomes exposed.

This is a two player game of fast-paced, tactical combat. It comes with nine scenarios, and 50 awesome plastic Citadel miniatures. Here’s waht you get:

1x Genestealer Primus, 1x Genestealer Magus and two Familiars
2x Purestrain Genestealers, 4x Aberrants and 28x Genestealer Hybrids (12 Acolyte Hybrids of the 1st and 2nd generation and 16 Neophyte Hybrids of the 3rd and 4th generation)
1x Genestealer Patriarch
11x Deathwatch Space Marines. Including veterans, a heavy weapon-armed Devastator, a Terminator and a Space Marine Bike
Teleport homer and servo skull
along with 8 detailed double-sided board tiles, 6 dice, a range ruler and a 48-page rulebook

The boxed set costs £100 and can be ordered here. This has to be one of the most amazing releases from GW, ever! The miniatures are insane and the value in the boxed game is outstanding. I really can’t fault any of the sculpts, they all ooze with character and those Genestealer miniatures are simply out of this world. Can’t wait to get my hands on a set!
