Warhammer 40K: Inquisitor – Martyr Announced!

Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr has been announced by NeocoreGames.  The game will be an action-RPG made in collaboration with Games Workshop. Check out the announcement trailer below.

Not much is known about the game at this stage by NeocoreGames has pegged it a milestone in the evelotuion of Action RPG’s. They will be aiming to create a persistent sandboxed game with improved in-game mechanics and visuals. NeocoreGames has created the Van Helsing RPG trilogy and I quite enjoyed the first and second one.

You can expect a single player campaign after which the story will continue in the sandboxed sector of the universe.

“There’s a reason why we chose the world of Warhammer 40,000: it’s intense, brutal, visceral – a perfect material for an Action RPG. Working with Games Workshop, we’re doing our best to bring a high quality game to the community. We’re huge fans as well, so we care deeply about this game.” – Zoltán ‘Pozs’ Pozsonyi, Producer, NeocoreGames

“A Warhammer 40,000 action RPG has been notably absent from our portfolio of video game licenses so far and its great to finally be able to talk publicly about this wonderful game that the guys at Neocore have been working so hard on for some time now. Their previous action RPG’s are very impressive and we feel privileged to be partnering with them on this game.” – Jon Gillard, Head of Licensing, Games Workshop

This all sounds rather promising and hope they can deliver on their vision. The game is Coming to PC, Mac, Xbox One and Playstation 4 in 2016. You subscribe to a newsletter over on the NeocoreGames website.
